Abbeyseafood was set up by two ex-fishermen who due to the collapse of the construction industry found themselves on the wrong side of the unemployment line. Tired of sitting around and trying to find employment, they decided to make their own job instead. Drawing on their combined fishing experience of over 30 years, the brothers knew a lot about catching fish and also about the health benefits of eating fish. The idea for Abbeyseafood was born and in the last 12 months, the business has gone from strength to strength. The reason for it, is their promise of their produce never being more than 24hrs off the boat. With a wide selection of produce, and expert knowledge customers need not look any further for fresh fish at reasonable prices.
